Keep your child cool with the HyperKewl Children's Evaporative Cooling Sport Vest from Techniche. Just soak vest in cool water for 1-2 minutes to activate cooling, gently squeeze out any excess water, wipe dry and the garment is ready to wear. The vest will remain activated for hours and can be re-hydrated by following the same steps above. HyperKewl products use a unique Polymer Embedded Fabric (PEF). When submerged in water, the vest absorbs water and stores it inside powerful polymer crystals. The encapsulated water then evaporates slowly (8-12 hours) creating an extended cooling effect.
The vest is lightweight and reusable over and over. These vests are designed to be worn outside of other clothing to ensure proper evaporation of the absorbed water. Please note that high humidity (90%+) will diminish the fabric's ability to evaporate water and therefore provide cooling. You may have to rehydrate more frequently in these conditions. Evaporative cooling products work best in dry climates. Hand wash and line dry. Be sure to hang up to dry after use. Garment must be completely dry before storing.
